Floor Coating
URETHANE UNIVERSAL PRIMER
- usage
- Primer for non-ferrous metals such as galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum, as well as for steel surfaces where blast surface treatment is not possible.
This paint is an anti-corrosive formulated with highly effective anti-corrosive pigments and urethane resin. It is an acrylic urethane type anti-corrosive coating that provides excellent resistance to water, salt water and oil. It has excellent adhesion properties, making it suitable for various non-ferrous metals and steel structures where blast surface treatment is not possible. It can be overcoated with various topcoats such as epoxy, urethane and alkyd.

how to use
- Surface treatment
- Completely remove oil, moisture, sand, dust and any other foreign substances from the surface to be painted.
Thoroughly dry the surface to be painted before application
No special surface preparation such as blasting is required (except for submerged areas)
In repair painting, completely remove poorly adhering old coatings, rust and mill scale by hand tools or power tools.
After primer coating, clean up the welded areas (blackened and rusted areas) with a disc sander.
Then, touch up with this paint and continue coating.
For highly glossy and smooth galvanized steel sheets (such as deck plates) a trial coating is required, and surface
treatment with sandpaper is recommended, if necessary, to improve adhesion. - Preceding and follow-up coating
- 1. Subsequent coating : Urethane-based, Fluororesin-based, Epoxy-based
- Remarks
- 1. Sufficient performance after last coating is achieved after drying for 7 days at 20℃.
2. For substrates such as plastic, PCM, acrylic boards and tiles, proceed with coating only after a trial application
confirms no abnormalities. - Coating conditions
- 1. Coating can be done by either brush, roller, or airless spray coating.
2. Airless spray coating :
- Tip diameter : 0.015"~0.019"
- The used painting instrument must be cleaned with a dedicated diluent immediately after use.
