Architecture Paint

Q-fit WATER-BASED SILICONE PAINT(RS)

usage
Finish coating for exterior walls of alkaline material such as concrete, cement mortar, P.C., plaster, etc.

Unlike general exterior water-based paints, this paint is specially designed by carefully selecting only acrylic modified silicone resin with excellent durability and inorganic pigment with excellent weather resistance. It is a premium exterior water-based paint with high water resistance and low contamination that does not chalk due to ultraviolet rays, prevents penetration of water with strong siloxane bond of silicone resin, and maintains a clean appearance at the initial painting for a long period of time due to its excellent durability.

PRODUCT PROPERTIES (PHYSICAL PROPERTY DATA)

Superior weather resistance
It is a high weather-resistant paint that does not chalk under UV rays thanks to the specially designed mix based on carefully selected inorganic pigments with excellent weather resistance. (It is a RS certified product)
Excellent durability
Silicone resin has a dense film composition due to the siloxane bond, which is a stable and strong chemical bond, thereby having excellent durability.
Excellent water resistance
As a resin with a reduced content of hydrophilic material is used, water resistance is excellent.

how to use

Surface treatment
1. The material should be sufficiently cured (cured more than 30 days at 20℃)
2. Laitance, dust, oil and other contaminants on the surface must be completely removed.
3. The proper pH of the material must be less than 9, and the percentage of moisture content must be less than 6%.
4. The gaps and grooves on the surface must be filled with exterior water-based putty, and surface adjustment should be made before coating.
5. After the substrate treatment, if necessary, apply 15㎛ D.F.T. of Waterbased Penetrative Sealer DNX-4001 with a roller or a brush to prevent poor adhesion and discoloration defects.
6. For areas where the absorption of the surface is severe, apply once more after at least 3 hours at 20℃.
Coating method
1. Apply twice to get a dry film thickness of 60㎛ with a roller, brush or spray.
2. At this time, apply by diluting with water up to 20%.
3. After 2 coats, the re-coating interval is at least 3 hours after the first top coating at 20℃.
