how to use

Surface treatment
1. Completely remove oil, moisture, sand, dust, and other foreign matter from the surface to be coated.
Then, touch up with this paint and continue coating.
2. Sufficiently dry the surface to be coated before coating.
3. After primer coating, clean up the welded areas (blackened and rusted areas) with a disc sander.
Coating method
1. Although coating can be done by either brush, roller, air or airless spraying, airless spray coating is best for
obtaining a sufficient coating thickness.
2. Airless spray coating :
- Tip diameter : 0.019"~0.023"
- Injection pressure : More than 3000 P.S.I (210㎏/㎠)
- Store the coating equipment after cleaning with an exclusive thinner immediately after use.
3. Refinishing with several over-lapped brushing can cause stains by melting of existing film or
slow drying by increased film thickness. Wrinkles and color spreading could be occurred by existing film.
4. If you worry about bubbles on the topcoat by pinholes on midcoat, apply a primary coating with
diluted topcoat and apply the main topcoat.
5. In case of coating on the primer directly without intumescent midcoat, adhesion could be different by
primer types and coating interval. Please check the adhesion with primer before applying.
6. Additional tinting is unavailable due to the color difference and flooding.
Preceding and follow-up coating
1. Preceding coating : One-hour or two-hour fire-resistant paint (FIREBLOCKING series)
Remarks
1. Sufficient performance after last coating is achieved after drying for 7 days at 20℃.
2. Excessive dilution may occurs drying problem, flooding and sagging.
3. Yellowing and chalking could be occurred by sunlight.
