Industrial Coating

ACRYLIC URETHANE HAMMERTONE

usage
Top coat for industrial machinery, safes, sewing machines, test devices, etc.

This is a two-component acrylic urethane hammertone paint which mainly consists of acrylic resin and isocyanate resin. It can form clear and beautiful hammertone pattern with just a one coat session, which makes it suitable for industrial machinery, safes, etc.

how to use

Surface treatment
• Completely remove oil, moisture, sand, dust and foreign substances from the surface.
• For steel materials(CR, EGI, GI), apply zinc phosphate chemical conversion coating.
• Paint with wash primer before painting if chemical conversion coating with zinc phosphate and other surface treatment methods are difficult to apply.
Coating method
• Air spray
- Recommended thinner : DR-705, DR-700
- Dilution viscosity : 25 - 40 seconds (Ford cup #4/25℃)
Remarks
• Hammertone pattern may vary depending on conditions such as worker, discharge amount, discharge pressure, number of painting sessions, and thinner dilution.
• The pattern varies by the amount of silicone additive. Add the additive separately if necessary.
• The pattern becomes more dense as the amount and viscosity of silicone additive increases.
• Humidity defect and silicone precipitation during winter at below 5 ℃ may cause the paint film to perforate. So paint while maintaining the paint at lukewarm temperature.
• Use a DH-130 hardener for fast-drying, a DH-330 hardener for improved adhesiveness and no-yellowing, and a DH-230 for semi-quick drying and semi-yellowing.
• Painting several times can create more constant pattern with more curvature.
